Haley Sorensen, SWT

Intern/Counselor

Haley Sorensen has her bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Studies with certificates in Marriage, Family and Human Relations, Human Services and Advanced Marriage and Family Functioning from Brigham Young University-Idaho. 

She is currently pursuing a masters degree in clinical social work from Cleveland State University and is hoping to earn her independent social work license (LISW), and work as a trauma therapist. 

Haley has many years of working with children in a home daycare setting, she has her CDCA designation and has spent time working as a drug and alcohol counselor in a rehabilitation setting. She has experience with case management, counseling, and facilitating group therapy. 

Haley feels passionately about healing trauma and is committed to helping others in a non-judgmental and empathetic way. She is looking forward to working with clients of all ages and backgrounds and building a good rapport with those she works with.

In her free time, Haley enjoys spending time with her three children, listening to podcasts, reading books, enjoying Broadway shows and concerts and doing puzzles.
