Jonathan Cobb, CT

Jonathan is a dedicated and empathetic counselor trainee who brings warmth, positivity, and a collaborative spirit to his work with clients. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University, where he concentrated in Career Counseling, and he is currently pursuing his master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University.

Before beginning his clinical training, Jonathan gained valuable experience working in prevention programs with high-risk youth, supporting them through challenges related to behavior, emotion regulation, and life transitions. He has also been actively involved with adolescent athletic youth groups, where he helped young athletes build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills on and off the field.

Jonathan enjoys working with both adults and children and strives to create a safe, supportive space for clients of all ages. His clinical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), using evidence-based strategies to help clients build insight, strengthen emotional well-being, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

Outside of his clinical work, Jonathan enjoys coaching youth sports teams, cheering on Cleveland sports, and spending quality time with friends and family. He brings the same energy, encouragement, and teamwork he values in his personal life into the counseling room.
