Melissa “Missy” Leonhardt, LPCC-S, believes that healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and supported. With a Master’s in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from John Carroll University, Missy brings a strong foundation in cultural understanding, diversity, and human behavior to her clinical work.
Missy specializes in helping clients process trauma and reclaim their sense of control. She provides counseling for children (age 5+), adolescents, and adults, using an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, mood disorders, grief, life transitions, adjustment challenges, personality disorders, and relationship or family issues.
When Missy is not in session, she enjoys watching her children play hockey and serves as the president of the Board of Directors for their local club.
